College Academy for Parents

In this free program, parents learn how to best prepare their students to attend college. Parents attend 12 Tuesday evening sessions.

Parents of students who attend Craycroft, Elvira, Los Niños, Los Ranchitos, Santa Clara or Summit View Elementary Schools, and to the parents of 5th-graders at Billy Lane Lauffer Middle School. The 2007 cohort will graduate on April 25, 2007 in a ceremony at the UA.

Our office has provided training and workshop materials at a minimal cost to grant funded organizations seeking ways to conduct parent outreach. For more information about this training, please contact us at eao@u.arizona.edu

College Academy for Parents (CAP) Camp Leader Application

The Office of Early Academic Outreach is currently recruiting Camp Leaders for the 2008 CAP program. Applicants must be UA graduate or undergraduate students with a minimum 2.5 GPA and an interest in working with elementary school children. Interested students who are bilingual in English and Spanish or who are from the Sunnyside Unified School District are particularly encouraged to apply.
